Yacht Sail Training Fast-Track RYA Day Skipper Sailing Course, for aspiring skippers with little or no yachting experience. Gain experience with basic navigation and sailing skills, for those looking to learn to sail and charter sailing yachts.

The RYA Day Skipper qualification is one of the minimum requirements to hold before you can charter a sailing yacht in most countries. World recognised and can be extended with the RYA membership to incorporate the ICC (International Competence Certificate).

Become a RYA Day Skipper with a recognised RYA Training Centre – Yacht Sail Training, RYA Sailing school and Learn to skipper a yacht on short passage with the instructor on hand to give advice and encouragement and ensure your safety. Experience being in charge, taking credit when it all goes well and being responsible when it doesn’t.

Whats Included?

Everything you need to compete the course – all yacht costs, instructors, breakfasts and lunch provisions onboard, fuel, marina berths, course materials for use while onboard, certificates, tourist tax. end of course cleaning, bedding, towels, water, soft drinks, wifi.

What isn’t included?

Evening meals are not included; however there will be the basics (salt and peppers, oils etc onboard). So you can cook onboard in an evening (occasionally groups just buy some extra and cook between them).

Please just be considerate to other students onboard as provisions are provided for Breakfasts and lunch only. If sailing at night provisions are available for evening meals.

If you wish to eat onboard every night you may need to top the provisions up a little if you wish to eat onboard every evening. the local restaurants are also however very reasonable and tasty.

Where will we sail?

You will start your course in Marina Kastela, Split, Croatia and the next 10 days will include various ports and islands including the following: Brac, Solta, Hvar and Vis Island.

Depending on the course duration and other students joining you there is a possibility but not gaurenteed you may even visit Scedro, Korcula and Mljet and Dubrovnik Town.

Overall:

This is a great introduction to sailing and is the pre-entry level and the minimum requirement for chartering yachts in many locations around the world, couple it with your VHF license and off you go.

On a Budget? Maybe You Just Don’t Want To Eat Out Every Night? – No Problem At All

Almost everything is included in Yacht Sail Training Prices, BUT as mentioned the only items we do not include are “Evening Meals”. However lets not forget your on a well equipped, good quality sailing yacht and the galley (Kitchen) travels with you.

So if your happy cooking for yourself or with other students onboard on an evening. All you will be required to do is buy some extra food for the evenings from a local supermarket. (There is ample storage room onboard, all the utensils required, cooker, oven, hob, fridge + all the basics of olive oil and salt & pepper already onboard that students are welcome to use).

We have regularly found students often enjoy sampling the local restaurants on the various islands we visit, so we have made the choice to not include evening meal provision’s as standard to save on food waste.
