Mile building – Yacht Delivery Crew Required
Boarding: Barcelona
Date: 28th April 2020 – 09:00hrs
Destination: Montenegro
Arrival Estimate: 9th / 10th May 2020
If applying you MUST be able to commit to 9-12 Days of sailing in the Mediterranean on a delivery
We are looking for 2-3 crew to join on the passage. Total crew will be upto 5 onboard.
Volunteer Position. Passage will take approximately 9-12 days and will include night passages through the Messina Straight.
Onboard expenses covered (Food & Soft Drinks)
Cabins will be required to be shared during the passage. Crew to bring there own sleeping bag and pillow, wet weather clothing, non marking footwear, and cold weather clothing.
Great for anyone looking to learn a bit more about sailing or just enjoy a super passage offshore in the Mediterranean.
You will be involved in all aspects of the delivery: Sailing, keeping watch, helming, setting sails, anchoring, provisioning, cooking and cleaning whilst onboard, you will be an active member of night watch rotas, daily maintenance and checks, log keeping, weather planning, passage planning, pre boat checks and all aspects of the delivery.
Great for making new friends, Mile building and getting some more sailing experience. However this is also a serious position as you will be part of the crew and not just a passenger onboard.
Minimum requirements for crew are RYA day skipper or preferably RYA Yachtmaster or equivalent (practical & theory) you must have a good understanding of IRPCS to assist in covering night watches whilst onboard and be part of the yachts watch rota.
Ideally you will be open minded easy to get on with and willing to learn and be fully part of the crew.
You will hold a passport that allows entry into Spain, Italy, Montenegro and possibly Greece. And will be of good health.

NOTE: This is not a island hopping holiday adventure however there will be some flexibility depending on our progress.
